That... is crazy. And it makes me wonder about the War on Drugs. Why are we fighting it? If drugs were legalized there would be no war on drugs.
According to the article they seized a bunch of guns with the illegal drugs, but if they were legal there would be no reason for those people to keep guns in order to protect themselves.
Education could be the key in the war on drugs. Let's make it legal and instead warn people of the effects, yes, we're taught now, but a lot of the time doing something illegal is almost as much fun as the actual act.
Why is speeding so fun?
When you're forced to think about it it has a tendency to lose some of its appeal, but it's illegal and your car can go that fast so why wouldn't you?
It's exciting!
Alcohol is legal, cigarettes are legal, why isn't cocaine?
Don't we have the right to make decisions about what goes in our body and what does not?
We could say that people aren't intelligent enough to make their own decisions, but isn't that just Darwinism? Allow the idiots to die out and let those who are smart enough to know what should and should not go in their body live and prosper.
You want a national healthcare program? Okay! I'm for it! But let's give it to those people who are smart. Reward the good. If you don't smoke, don't drink, don't do drugs, well you get full coverage. If you don't smoke but you drink, well you get less coverage.
Take a test, just like a driver's license.
Just thinking.
Is it summer yet so I can maybe stop thinking?
Hahaahha.
