Calorie counting during Christmas is a lost cause.
Tomorrow night is not dinner, it is just a series of appetizers set out to graze. Oh boy.
So I guess the goal for now is to just be smart until we return to our regularly scheduled meals.

I forgot to count calories. It's surprisingly difficult to count when I'm at home and there are so many grazing opportunities. But I've done it before and I can do it now. I will do it now. Again, I'm going to continue to add exercise. I've been walking the dogs a little bit nothing compared with what I should be doing. Fruit addition has gone pretty well, so I'll try to focus on veggies for this week.

Just so everyone knows:
I suck at being a girlfriend.
I'm much better at being a sister and a daughter. This could be because I've had far more practice in the latter two, but it's most likely because I just suck as a person.
Sorry.
It's always my fault that I'm in love with my family and want to spend as much time with them as possible. Yep. Awesome. Great.

Today
Two finals.
A ton of LaO: SVU.
Then I got the crazy idea to take Ellie to Bidwell, and do a 5K.
It was fun, I took it easy. Hopefully the taking it easy combined with the 10K from a month ago will mean less sore-ness tomorrow.
In other news since I started calorie counting I've been being much more behaved about my eating... except for Sunday. I managed to eat over 4000 calories.
Disgusting. I should know better. Ugh.
Actually, the blame lies in my consumption of two doughnuts (one was a very, very late night snack) and the drinking of an iced coffee, not the Starbucks kind that I usually get but the extremely caloric-heavy Dutch Brothers. I think I'll be avoiding their over-sized iced drinks for a while and sticking with my plain iced coffee and milk.
Anyways, the battle continues. This Wednesday I take my weight and measurements again so I'll see if there's any improvement. I can only hope!
Oh, and I did make a positive contribution for my weight loss goals; I signed up for the FitU program at my university! They do nutrition, counseling and fitness plans for $50 bucks. If you complete the program (i.e. go to all your scheduled meetings) you get $25 back! Not bad, especially if it works.
Well, that's all for now, sleep is essential because I have two finals tomorrow!
